Cypress Hammock at The Brooks is a Condominium Community in Southwest Florida in the Village of Estero, established in 1999. We are part of the Shadow Wood Community which is one of four communities within The Brooks. The vast majority of our homes have either a golf course, lake or preserve view.
We have 116 units spread across 31 buildings. The majority of our buildings have four units but a few of our buildings have only two. Units range in size from 2000 sq. ft to 2,700 sq. ft., each unit with an attached two-car garage. Recently our buildings were updated with new roofs, paint, and lighting along with a resurfaced roadway during 2022 through 2023. Refreshed landscaping is planned and anticipated to start in 2026.
Our amenity center provides a pool, meeting room, limited library and a small fitness center. Our community holds monthly social events during "season" and many of our residents participate. “Soup and Sandwiches" is an example of one of our most popular events with residents providing homemade soups to share.
Our residents are very involved and engaged in operating and maintaining our community. We have numerous committees providing support in a number of ways. Examples of committees include Landscape, Safety Awareness, Rules and Social. These committees have a voice in the way our community operates, and participation is welcomed.
